Our Background
Atossa Therapeutics takes its name from Princess Atossa of ancient Persia, whose story is often cited as one of the earliest recorded accounts of treatment for breast cancer more than two millennia ago.
Her story reflects a long-standing medical goal: to intervene against disease in ways that preserve health and improve outcomes. Atossa began with a focus on breast health and has evolved into a clinical-stage company developing (Z)-endoxifen across breast cancer and selected rare diseases where estrogen-related biology may be therapeutically relevant.
